Step 4:
Flashing Radio Firmware
Flash your radio with your preferred firmware.
MESHTASTIC
and
LANCE PLUGIN
require the meshtastic firmware.

Use a Chromium based browser
Go to the
MESHTASTIC FLASHER
on your desktop
Press HERE
Press
"Select Target Device"
Select the RAK WisBlock 4631
LBM is based on the 4631 low power module
Select the latest stable version
Select the same version as the versions your network you want to cenntect to.
If this is your first device, select the latest stable (beta)
Press "Flash"
Scroll down the prompt and press "continue"
Connect your provided USB-C cable top your PC
Press "Enter DFU Mode"
Connect your LBM to the USB-C cable and it will turn up in the prompt
Connect your antenna before ever powering on the device or connecting it or powering it on.
Choose the Serial unit that pops up when you plug in the cable in the LBM.
Press "Connect"
Press the "Download UF2" button at the bottom
Place the downloaded file in the USB-drive that appears when entering DFU mode
Let the transfer complete and do not abort half way or remove any cables.
When transfer is complete remove the cable.
